It is a really nice website for those who love cats, create cat art and well....pretty much anyone with feline love in their hearts. :)
One of my pieces is being displayed on the blog, which is very exciting! Check it out!
Cheers! Hilary

So while I am waiting to purchase new canvases, I am trying to be creative with my camera...lately I have taken pictures of the lazy Spots...and I have yet to find Malachi doing something outlandish. He is quite conservative and tends to just want to be outside where he can hunt mice, shrews and other little creatures. This picture was taken from my last apartment where Malachi had gotten a hold of my...well lets just call it...nightly wear....and I chased him around the house to try and pry it from his grasp...spots was a little in on it as well, however Malachi would hiss and spit at him as if he had caught a mouse or something....I could not believe how possessive he was of it! So I stopped chasing him and had to take a photo. Here he is hissing as Spots, making sure he is the sole owner of the...ahem...nightly wear.

Ok....seriously this is my cat for you...after he is done tearing my plants apart and getting into the garbage...he very nicely pushes the couch cushions down a little so he can have his own couch hammock...and there he will sit, sleep, or clean himself for the rest of the day...or until I move him and the cushion. I love him to death, but he is starting to think he owns the joint! Well...not that he didn't think that before. Also I have found him clung to either the inside of my wooden front door...or the outside screen door, either wanting in or out. I still have to get pictures of that one :) You really have to click on them to get the full effect of what this cat thinks of himself! haha!

I have done a Christmas craft show now for two years up in Barrie Ont. The people there are so sweet, and I love all the different crafts. Two years ago there was a booth there with these amazing little fairies, they were there this year as well. Just adorable! Mine sits in my kitchen window...I think though that I need to build up a fairie family, and get one for every room! They are the sweetest things!
I made some pancake mix yesterday for the kids and was thinking how great this mix was!...Healthy....at least healthier than mix from a box...this recipe comes from Peho...my partners mother.
Peho Pancakes
1/2 cup yogurt (plain)
2 small eggs
1tsp melted butter
Pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar
3/4 cup spelt flour
1/2 tsp B.S. and 1/2 tsp B.P.
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup chopped up oats.
Mix all together! Takes a minute longer in the pan, but worth the wait!!
Enjoy!!

So...today I've acquired two new pets. One I adopted at the farmers market and one I found gallivanting around my living room. They are both so beautiful that I thought I would capture them on camera.
This first one is Herbert...I am not sure what he is, but he enjoys munching on smaller insects, getting small fuzzies attached to his legs and long walks on the beach.
This one is Emilia, she is 4" tall and a beautiful shade of green...she loves basking in the sunlight, and drinking plenty of water to stay healthy...sometimes she may even participate in a little yoga.
